So we have been having major problems with our computer lately. Trojan alerts coming up all the time, viruses all over the place. Its been going on for about a week now and we finally i hope got it all worked out. Luckily i followed a good pattern this morning... instead of going back to sleep after Samuel leaves at 6:45am i decided to check my email to see if Dan wanted to Skype this morning... and didn't want to sleep through it. While i was on my email a friend from school (a computer wiz) messaged me about china... and i was like.. PERFECT!!! so i asked him what we should do about these trojans and what not... and he told us to use "SpyBot". So i downloaded it and within 45 mins i had it downloaded, scan my computer and deleted like 15 viruses (4 of which were trojans) on my computer!! Now we will see how the rest of the day goes and if i still have problems with my computer or not. But i was amazed by this thing. and now it is on my computer so i can check periodically to make sure that China isn't trying to cut off all of our communication with good old America!!! YAY!!
So this past week has been good. Yes i did try to eat a napkin. we were at a korean restaurant the other day, and they loooked like after dinner mints. Little round white things. So after dinner i went and "licked" it (Samuel bought some mints the other day that tasted like chalk... so i wasn't going to just pop it in my mouth) and i was like... that taste like paper or something. so then i examined it a little closer and i knew what it was. i put it is some water and it GREW... like thsoe dinosaurs you put in water that grow like 10 times bigger... into a big washcloth for you to wipe up during your meal!! HAHA!! Samuel of course laughed and laughed... and so did i! it was really funny. We have found some good places to eat though this past week. We found a different Korean restaurant that serves Bulgolgi (the best korean dish i have ever had) and a little sandwich shop, "The Paris Baguette" that has the best sandwiches! we have to take the subway to get to it.. but that only takes like 5 mins. and it is so worth it to get a good sandwich.
We also have the privlage of being in China during the "Milk Crisis". Not only have they found that plastic chemical in baby formula, but now they are finding it in all kinds of dairy products. our school and international health insurance provider have emailed us and told us NO DAIRY PRODUCT if they are made in china. I was very upset when we heard about it... we found this yogurt at the grocery store when we first got here that is AMAZING... and i would drink one every morning with my PB&J sandwich. but not anymore... they especially said no to milk, yogurt, and ice cream. Luckily we think that china has to import cheese... so we are still eating pizza until further notice. :) besides... we have to get our calcium somehow!
i am trying to think if anything else has really happened. I got to talk to my brother Dan on Skype this morning for about an hour... and that was so much fun. Seeing little Jackson... oh he is so cute!! and Samuel is off work all next week for a national holiday!! YAY!!! so hopefully we will get to go see Pandas or go to Beijing or something.
Other than that i still deal with crazy taxi drivers every day and hope i survive the trips. And we still do our shopping... this time Samuel bought stuff and we bought some presents for the family... be very excited!!!
Love you and miss you all

We're so glad you're not drinking the milk! Joseph & I laughed about the napkin!
Sounds like your life has gotten into a routine. I hope your teaching is going well. I always wonder how you are teaching them when you can't speak their language. Have fun seeing pandas/beijing this next week. One day I'll have to skype you, but i don't have video, so it would only be sound. But i did download Skype, though i've never used it. I should practice with mom first b/c i'm clueless. Things are good here. Kate's cutting teeth and cried for 4 hours in the middle of the night. I'm excited for General Conference. Are you going to watch it on the Internet. We are going to try and do that. Love you!
