so yesterday was fairly normal... but i got to talk to Robert and Doranda and Tucker for a while! Robert helped me to get my web cam up and running so i am really excited about that!! i can finally talk on skype for real! YAY!! and i taught english and what not!
when i got home though, samuel was still coming back from playing basketball at work, so he didn't get home until almost 8, and then he came running in saying we were going to dinner (Again) with someone from work! so we jump in his co-workers car (we finally didn't have to take a taxi b/c this guy had a car) and he took us to a hole in the wall restaurant... where we could eat traditional Chinese food. We go in, and it was gross... 1/2 the guys weren't wearing shirts... people were spitting, smoking all over, and the kitchen didn't look sanitary! .......
WAIT... as i am typing this we have found CNN on our tv... IN ENGLISH!! oh happy day!!
ok.. back to my story. so the 2 co-workers order all the food... and they start bringing skewers of meat. but then they brought out this Tofu with egg... but the eggs were BLACK!! yes.. i guess they cook them in dirt! i had one bite of just tofu... and left that dish alone! the skewers were good enough... fish, lamb, chicken. and then they brought out something that wasn't beef or chicken... i took one bite and said "ok... what is this"... and no one could tell me what it was in english. so one coworker whips out his dictionary on his phone... and it was either Kidney or Testicles.. AGH!!! he told us it was testicles!! i couldn't hide the disgust on my face... i wanted to puke!! luckily within the next 10 seconds he told us he was actually kidney! (still gross)
so i came home a little disgusted... but overall it was funny!! today we are going to ancient culture street... so that should be fun!!

o my gosh! when you wrote that you ate a testicle i almost died, I'm so glad it was really kidney. I'm SOOOO glad you get CNN. Now you can watch the election unfold. The new vice president john mccain picked, sarah palin, is awesome! You need to know that CNN is VERY VERY biased. It is a VERY liberal left wing channel. So when you watch, know that they are telling you half truths and trying to get you to think in their liberal direction. They are totally pro-Obama. So don't be surprised if they feed you a bunch of negative stories about sarah palin. She is amazing and a real threat to obama's campaign b/c people who know her love her.
